In April 2009, Christina & Joseph Maddocks decided to move to Cyprus from England, UK. Having previously been an active member of a BNI chapter in Dubai, UAE. Mrs Christina Maddocks searched for a BNI chapter on the island of Cyprus.

When she learned that BNI had not been established in Cyprus yet, she contacted, with the help of National Directors Middle East & East Africa, Bijay & Anna Shah, the Headquarters in LA in order to find out how she could start BNI in Cyprus. Soon after, Christina & Joseph found themselves in National Director training in Los Angeles, USA with Norm Domingez, CEO of BNI.

Christina & Joe arrived in Cyprus in July 2009 and are currently busy with launching their first chapters in Pafos and Limassol, soon to expand to Larnaca and Nicosia as well.

The strong belief of ‘What goes around, comes around’ combined with the deep embedded Cypriot culture of referring family members and business contacts to each other, will make the BNI system and structured approach benefit expat and local business people alike.

It is exciting that BNI has begun operating here in Cyprus because participants in the BNI program can look forward to complimenting their existing marketing efforts with integrating BNI into business strategy for retention and acquisition of customers and therefore sustaining organizational growth.
